Administrative and Accounting Assistant

Part time position, flexible schedule, supporting a fast growing small business operating throughout North America.

Primary responsibilities will include payroll entry, expense tracking, contract management, marketing support and financial reporting.

This position will be responsible for a variety of administrative functions and general bookkeeping.

The perfect candidate for this position will be a detail-oriented multi-tasker with some accounting experience and strong interpersonal skills needed to work collaboratively and effectively with the owners, management team & subcontractors.

The successful candidate will have experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced but casual work environment.

Previous experience should include the following:

  • Payroll (prevailing wage experience helpful but not required)
  • Some general contract experience ( helpful but not required)
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Viewpoint (or similar accounting/job costing software)
  • Data entry/Filing including work in paperless environments (Electronic Filing)
  • Tax filing for sales, payroll and transit tax

A valid driver’s license is required in order for occasional errands.

Equipment Operator

Bridge Access Specialties has specialized under bridge inspection trucks with operators for bridge inspection or maintenance for Rail Roads, Transit Systems and Highways. BAS is growing and looking for professional operator/drivers to join our team. We are located in Springfield, OR but work all over the United States.

Job Description: Our Bridge Truck / Snooper Truck operator/drivers drive the units to the job, meet and build a relationship with the customer, deploy the booms and give the customer a so called ride while they inspect the bridge.

Job Requirements:

  • This job requires extensive travel, up to 4 to 6 weeks
  • CDL, current class A with (no DUI’s)
  • Strong work ethics/self-motivated with strong safety standards
  • Effective communicator / Build relationship and rapport with customer
  • Mechanical background a plus
  • Bridge, Rail Road or Construction a plus
  • Man lift experience a plus
  • Ability to work at heights a must
